Easebourne Parish Council (EPC) aims to provide good quality services and sound management of the community assets for which we are responsible, whilst ensuring that we get best value from the funds provided by our residents and tax payers.
Parish Councils are funded solely through Council Tax and from income from any services they provide. They do not receive any Government funding or business rates.
Parish Councils appoint a Clerk to carry out and record the council's decisions and may also employ other staff as necessary.
Councils have to meet at least four times a year, including one public meeting where they can be questioned by local electors. EPC currently has one Parish Clerk managing all of our administration (Click here for contact details). We meet every other month in the Refectory, and all of our meetings are open to the public. Children’s play area and recreation ground:-
Notice boards, Seats, Street lighting of public roads (except main roads)
Cemetery (on behalf of the Parochial Church Council)
EPC maintains sports and leisure facilities, keeps the play areas as litter free as possible and carries out health and safety checks regularly to ensure all children are safe in those play areas.
EPC monitors grass cutting around the parish and arranges for the cutting of grass in the cemetary.
Councillors are consulted on Planning issues, both from the district council and central government, on Health and Community issues, Policing, Road Safety, and Highways issues.
