NEW COUNCIL
Following the elections on 3rd May there are two new faces on the Parish Council. Mr Andrew Guyatt and Mr Mike Taylor join the nine existing Councillors. Mr Ian Heustice was re-elected as Chairman and Mr John Stringer was appointed Vice-Chairman. They will serve together with Mr Barney Gowar, Mrs Elizabeth Hamilton, Mr Jim Dabson, Mr David Pack, Mrs Joy Deacon-Ford, Mr Francis Martin and Mrs Ann Marchand.
Mrs Elizabeth Hamilton was also elected as the representative for Easebourne and Lodsworth on the Chichester District Council.

CODE OF CONDUCT
The Government has introduced a new Code of Conduct for members of Parish Councils. At the meeting on 9th May 2007 your Parish Council voted to adopt this new Code of Conduct. A copy of the code, together with Members Register of Interests, can be viewed by telephoning the Clerk (813374).

PARISH COUNCIL WEB SITE
With the departure from the Council of Mr Danny Warner, new Councillor Mr Mike Taylor has agreed to take on the running and updating of our web site. COWDRAY HERITAGE TRUST
The “Ruins”, now known as “Cowdray”, had a very successful opening day on 31st March and have made a promising start since being opened to the public. Many speciality events are planned and volunteers are still needed to help with the successful running of the attraction.

The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 11th July 2007 at 7.30pm in the Refectory. Everyone is welcome.
